Service Description

Our western journey begins at the stunning Cabo Girão, one of Europe’s highest sea cliffs. Rising 580 meters above the Atlantic, it offers breathtaking panoramas over terraced farmlands and Câmara de Lobos, with an optional walk across the thrilling glass skywalk. Next, we visit the peaceful Miradouro da Ribeira Brava, where the valley opens to the coastline in a soft blend of sea and mountains. We continue to the Encumeada ridge road, pausing at a panoramic valley viewpoint wrapped in fresh mountain air and deep green slopes. From here, the road leads us to Lombo da Achada dos Judeus, climbing a traditional ladeira between vineyards until we reach open views of untouched mountains. At the summit, we enter our first off-road path, revealing the São Vicente valley and a small chapel sitting proudly on the mountaintop. The landscape shifts once more as we arrive at Véu da Noiva Viewpoint, named after the waterfall that falls like a bridal veil into the ocean. Enjoy local stalls, dramatic cliffs and sea views perfect for photography. After this scenic moment, we head to Porto Moniz, famous for its natural lava pools. Here you'll have time to enjoy a local lunch, relax by the ocean and even swim in the volcanic pools if conditions allow, one of Madeira’s must-do experiences. After lunch we continue to Ribeira da Janela, a wild coastal area known for its towering sea stacks and the natural “window” in the rock that gave the place its name. Soon after, we stop at the magical Fanal Forest, a mystical woodland of ancient laurel. As we drive across Paul da Serra, Madeira’s biggest plateau, the scenery opens into wide horizons, a contrasting peaceful landscape above the clouds. The adventure progresses along Estrada Regional 209, where we enter a charming stone road embraced by eucalyptus forest, fragrant, calm, and atmospheric. We descend through the traditional Canhas ladeiras toward Ponta do Sol, surrounded by terraced agriculture rich with sugarcane, vineyards, potatoes and seasonal crops that flourish across the hillsides. The approach to the coast blends rural beauty with Atlantic views, framing Madeira’s agricultural heritage in its purest form.
